How Experience We Redefined the Coza Online Shopping
At Coza, we believe comfort should feel effortless.
Our products are designed around everyday comfort, from soft fabrics and relaxed fits to nightwear and maternity-friendly styles. But we also believe that the experience of discovering and shopping for those products should feel just as effortless.
As our online store evolved, we saw an opportunity to rethink the way customers interacted with Coza online.
Rather than simply changing the look of our website, we wanted to take a closer look at the complete shopping journey — from the moment someone lands on our homepage to the moment they discover a product, understand its benefits, add it to their cart and complete their purchase.
That became the foundation for redefining our Shopify store.
Starting With the Customer Journey
The redesign wasn't about changing things simply for the sake of a new look.
We looked at the different stages of the shopping experience and asked:
- Can customers understand what Coza offers quickly?
- Is it easy to discover the right collection?
- Can shoppers compare products confidently?
- Is important product information easy to find?
- Do customers have enough information to feel confident about sizing, delivery and returns?
- Does the cart experience encourage customers to continue shopping?
- Does the experience work naturally across mobile devices?
This helped us approach the redesign as a complete shopping experience rather than a collection of individual page changes.
The project was carried out with ConversionAB, with the store being reviewed and optimized across key customer touchpoints.
A Homepage Designed Around Discovery
The homepage is often the first interaction customers have with a brand, so we wanted ours to communicate Coza more clearly.
We moved toward a more focused hero experience with a clearer message and call to action, helping visitors understand the collection and where to begin shopping.
We also introduced clearer visual pathways into important categories and gave our bestsellers stronger visibility.
Instead of relying heavily on generic information blocks, the redesigned homepage puts greater emphasis on products, categories and the reasons customers choose Coza.
Making Collections Easier to Explore
We wanted customers to understand where they were and what they were browsing without unnecessary friction.
The redesigned collection experience introduced breadcrumb navigation, giving shoppers clearer context within the store.
We also added category banners to make collections more visually engaging and provide additional context.
Product cards were redesigned with clearer presentation, including:
- New arrival badges
- Bestseller badges
- Ratings
- Clearer calls to action
- Improved product imagery
Making Product Pages More Helpful
A product page is where a shopper starts making a purchase decision.
For us, this meant that product pages needed to answer questions — not create more of them.
We improved the product image experience by introducing thumbnails, allowing customers to browse different product views more easily.
Ratings and reviews were given greater prominence to bring real customer experiences into the decision-making process.
We also introduced a clearer Size Guide and Find My Size option to help customers make more confident sizing decisions.
Making Product Selection Simpler
We also reconsidered how customers select product options.
Instead of relying heavily on traditional dropdown selections, we introduced selectable option chips for choices such as:
- Size
- Style
- Zip
- Length
Available stock by size was also made more visible, helping customers understand availability while making their selection.
Showing Why Customers Will Love the Product
Product information shouldn't be hidden inside long blocks of text.
We reorganized important information into easy-to-scan sections, including:
- Product description
- Product details
- Shrinkage and wash care
- Shipping and returns
We also introduced a dedicated "Why You'll Love It" section to highlight product benefits and make the information easier to understand.
Building More Confidence Before Purchase
Comfort isn't the only thing customers consider when shopping online.
They also want confidence.
That's why we strengthened the areas that help answer common purchase questions.
The redesigned product experience highlights information such as:
- Free delivery
- Cash-on-delivery availability
- Easy exchanges
- Secure payment options
- Customer ratings and reviews
- Product benefits
- Size guidance
Bringing Real Customer Experiences Into the Store
We wanted customers to see more than product photography.
The redesigned experience introduced Customer Stories and real-life product videos to show products in use.
Customer reviews were also brought into the product experience, giving shoppers another perspective on comfort, fit, softness and ease of movement.
A More Useful Cart Experience
The shopping journey doesn't end when a product is added to the cart.
We also rethought our cart drawer.
The redesigned cart introduced:
- A clearer visual hierarchy
- A free-shipping/progress bar
- Product recommendations
- Secure payment icons
- Improved product presentation
The goal was to make the cart easier to understand while also helping customers discover relevant products and move confidently toward checkout.
More Than a Visual Redesign
One of the biggest changes in this project was our approach to redesigning the store.
We didn't want to simply make the website look different.
We wanted to make the experience clearer, easier and more useful.
That meant looking at the relationship between:
Discovery → Collection → Product → Decision → Cart → Checkout
Every stage has a role to play.
A stronger homepage helps customers discover products.
A clearer collection page helps them browse.
A more informative product page helps them decide.
A better cart experience helps them move toward checkout with confidence.
Together, these improvements create a more connected shopping experience.
Working With ConversionAB
To bring this new experience to life, we worked with ConversionAB, who helped us rethink and optimize key parts of our Shopify storefront across the homepage, collection pages, product pages and cart experience.
Their approach focused on combining design, user experience and conversion thinking rather than treating the redesign as purely visual.

Redefining What's Next for Coza
Our Shopify redesign is part of a bigger idea.
We want shopping with Coza to feel as comfortable as wearing Coza.
That means continuing to improve how customers discover our collections, understand our products, find the right size, build confidence and complete their purchases.
The new experience gives us a stronger foundation to keep doing exactly that.
Because for us, a better online store isn't simply about having a better-looking website.
It's about creating a better experience for every customer who visits Coza.
